Sign our petition. Our government needs to know that people like us do not want children to be taught CSE.
We are grateful that our government has not implemented CSE. However, there are local and international pressures for the government to change that.
We need to speak up so that CSE will not be implemented in Singapore.
The United Nations positions CSE as going beyond “abstinence-only” sex education (when abstinence is rarely even mentioned). It emphasises “risk reduction” in sexual activity rather than “risk avoidance”.
CSE takes a “human rights” approach that prioritises individual autonomy while simultaneously contradicting rights to freedom of speech and beliefs.
It is self-contradictory, claiming to be “non-judgemental” while marginalizing societal values and teaching children to advocate for pro-LGBTQ and pro-abortion policies.
It’s not just the United Nations. A powerful advocacy group in Singapore is asking the government to implement CSE.
